We dive deep into technical music tracking, mapping out unique sounds from progressive metal to classic protest anthems.
Here’s the story behind this weeks Musician Discovery, while learning Logic Pro during my internship, the MusicHelpTechGuy YouTube channel (run by Joshua Carney) became the literal blueprint I used to mix and master my debut demo, AWAKE! That journey led me to his band, Right Stripped. Their brilliant blend of heavy, driving riffs and stunning orchestral elements completely captivated me. The dramatic contrast between quiet intensity and explosive energy is a massive inspiration for exactly how I want my own sound to feel as an artist.

Movie of the Week
Check out if you haven’t already RRR, the movie that made me fall in love with Tollywood then later Bollywood
RRR (2022)—which stands for Rise Roar Revolt—is a Telugu-language epic action-drama directed by S.S. Rajamouli. Set in 1920s British-ruled India, it tells a fictionalized story about the deep bond and ultimate alliance between two real-life legendary revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (N.T. Rama Rao Jr.). Packed with massive, spectacular action sequences and unforgettable musical numbers—including the Oscar-winning song “Naatu Naatu”—the film received universal acclaim for its incredible scale, direction, and performances.
This movie is available on Netflix and ZEE5 if you want to check it out, but I also highly recommend exploring other films. They can be from these exact actors or completely outside of them. I just really wanted to share with you guys the movie that started it all for me.
